Strategy freshens the company’s image, positions the family business for future growth

West Rutland, VT – H.Hirschmann LTD, manufacturer of custom wood windows and doors for landmark, commercial and high-end residential properties, announces the launch of a new consumer brand campaign to be introduced through various media and marketing applications.  Developed under the theme “Truly Original,” the new branding campaign includes a refresh of the Hirschmann logo with an updated brand name, Hirschmann Architectural Windows and Doors, as well as a redesigned, optimized, user-friendly website.

The campaign was designed to give the Vermont-based company a clear identity in the high-end window and door market, and highlight the Hirschmann reputation for quality, innovation and exceptional craftsmanship.  It also shifts consumer focus from the origins and history of the family-run business, instead promoting Hirschmann’s specialized capabilities in its two core markets, historic reproduction and luxury residential.

“Builders and homeowners in the luxury market are more interested in differentiating their homes with unusual window shapes, one-of-a-kind hardware and bigger and better doors and windows,” says Rolf Hirschmann, company President and Owner.  “Similarly, landmark reproduction projects, like Harvard University’s Winthrop House Window Renovation, present tremendous challenges, requiring historically accurate designs merged with modern functionality.  This ability to work beyond boundaries, to think differently, and to meet the most extreme design challenges, this has been the Hirschmann hallmark all along.  This is what makes us Truly Original.” 

The updated Hirschmann logo presents the company’s new signature while honoring its 100-plus year history.  The redesigned website offers a fresh and engaging look at the Hirschmann brand, with easy navigation and helpful tools and resources.  In addition to a streamlined design, stunning photography and improved functionality for mobile devices, the site showcases the company’s growing portfolio of signature landmark projects and high profile architectural collaborations.

Hirschmann collaborated with the Vermont-based agency LMW Design, and brand strategist Kathy Aicher on the rebranding campaign.
